Pricing Guidelines
Choosing your wedding flowers can be overwhelming! Most brides don't spend alot of time thinking about flowers in their eveyday lives. All of a suddend you are planning the biggest event of your life and you have to choose the right flowers for your vision and your budget. It can be very challenging.
At your free consultation we will discuss all your floral design choices. Generally speaking there are three price points for flowers. The higher end includes flowers such as orchids, calla lilies, stephanotis, some lilies and so on. Medium range includes roses, gerberas, stock, delphinium, etc. Carnations and chrysanthemums are the least costly group.
Here are a few ways to expand your budget.
If you have to have a high end flower put it in your bouquet only along with flowers from the medium range. You are the bride and you will be looking at pictures of you with your bouquet for years to come so you should get what you love.
Your ceremony pieces are important because they frame you and your groom as you're getting married and look wonderful in your pictures. Many times they can be added to your reception decor.
As your guests enter your reception space the first thing they will notice is how your centerpieces reflect your wedding vision. Flowers transform any space they are in. There are few days as special as your wedding day so make sure to have beautiful flowers surrounding you and your guests.
A good way to expand your centerpiece budget is to combine medium and cost effective flowers with some textural greens. The inside-out centerpieces are also a good choice. These centerpieces usually feature a few flows submerged in water so the flowers take on a unique appearance. Add an underwater light and your guests will be talking about these centerpices for years to come.
Another way to look at expanding your budget is to look at the size of the flowers. Larger flowers like lilies and hydrangea can be a good value because of their size even though they tend towards the higher price range.
Pricing is determined by the size of your bouquet and the types of flowers you choose. Having a general idea of the price range of flowers helps you choose flowers that are right for you.
